Let's meet the fixer.

Mission:
New Ship, New Crew
Location: Ready Room
Timeline: Current
Andreas was on his watch on the bridge, which was more of a formality while at the Iota station, but it gave him a chance to get a feeling for the bridge and how it flowed. He was wandering around, checking each station as he passed it when his Yeoman caught up with him.
"Excuse me, sir. We just received another transfer order. We have a CEO and he's just arrived."
Andreas nodded. "Thank you, Yeoman. I'll let him get onboard. The security detail at the docking port will sign him in and advise him to report in to me anyways, so I don't want to hurry him too much."
"Aye, sir." She said as she went back to her work.
It took a painfully long time for security to finally accept Dave and his story, and allow him to board the ship. After they finally allowed him to come on, they gave him the message that the skipper wanted to see him.
Heavy footfalls crossed the command deck and Dave used his holographic "normal" hand to press the door chime.
"Come in." Andreas said.
As the door slid open, Dave raised the same hand and gave a small wave. "Hi! I'm Dave. They told me to come see you?"
Andreas motioned to the chair. "Good day, Lieutenant. Welcome aboard the Alabama. Normally I prefer to have my officer's ease into their positions, but we're about to head out on our shakedown cruise, so time is limited."
"Awesome." Dave said happily. "I hate sitting around, know what I mean? When do we leave?"
Andreas smiled. "I understand completely. Our briefing is in 2 hours. We'll head out immediately after. Lieutenant Commander Odegaard and Lieutenant Collier have been working tirelessly to get Engineering up to snuff. They've got it in a pretty good place at the moment. I'd recommend touching base with them and then work forward from there."
"Right on!" Dave answered. "I love meeting new people."
"I'm glad to hear it, Lieutenant." Andreas replied. "Our crew is still growing, so you'll have a chance to meet a lot of people as they arrive."
Andreas looked over at his chronometer. "I'm sorry to cut our meeting short, Lieutenant, but I have a few things to tie up before our briefing." He said as he got up.
"You got it boss." Dave answered. "I promise not to blow anything up for at least an hour." and he chuckled.
